Published November 4, 2024

TL;DR: Apple has announced its fiscal Q4 2024 results, achieving an impressive revenue of $94.9 billion, a 6% increase from last year. This growth is attributed to strong sales of the new iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4 among other products.

In its fiscal Q4 2024 report, Apple revealed a quarterly revenue of $94.9 billion, marking a growth of 6% year-over-year. The surge in revenue was fueled by the launch of the iPhone 16 series, which has seen record-breaking sales, alongside strong performance from the Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods 4.

The company generated $46.2 billion from iPhone sales alone, with additional contributions of $7.4 billion from its Mac division and $7 billion from iPad sales. Apple’s wearables, home, and accessories segment also performed well, bringing in $9 billion. Notably, its services revenue reached an all-time high of $25 billion, reflecting a 12% year-over-year increase.

Apple CEO Tim Cook commented on the results saying, "Today, Apple is reporting a new September quarter revenue record of $94.9 billion, up 6 percent from a year ago. During the quarter, we were excited to announce our best products yet, including the all-new iPhone 16 lineup, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4. We also introduced remarkable features for hearing health and sleep apnea detection, and released our first set of features for Apple Intelligence, which sets a new standard for privacy in AI. This positions us well heading into the holiday season."

Apple's Chief Financial Officer, Luca Maestri, added that "Our record business performance during the September quarter drove nearly $27 billion in operating cash flow, allowing us to return over $29 billion to our shareholders. We are very pleased that our active installed base of devices reached a new all-time high across all products and all geographic segments, thanks to our high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty."

Overall, these results highlight Apple’s strong position in the market, as consumers respond positively to its latest product offerings.
