Karimnagar: On Saturday, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, expressed his strong support for the recent Union Budget, describing it as remarkable and extremely beneficial for various groups including the poor, middle class, farmers, small traders, and young entrepreneurs.

One of the standout features of the budget is the introduction of tax exemptions that can go up to ₹12 lakh for employees. Kumar called this a revolutionary stride that could potentially save employees as much as ₹80,000 each year.

He further emphasized, “The budget is the most pro-middle class in the past 75 years. No government has ever offered such favorable conditions to the middle class.” This statement highlights the significance of the budget from the perspective of middle-class families, who are often seen as the backbone of the economy.

Another key component of the budget includes substantial support for farmers, notably benefiting those in Telangana. Over 50 lakh farmers are expected to access loans of up to ₹5 lakh. Kumar encouraged all farmers in the state to take advantage of Kisan Credit Cards to benefit from these opportunities.

Bandi Sanjay also spoke about the government's broader economic vision, which aims to elevate India to the position of the third-largest economy by 2027, trailing only the United States and China. This ambitious goal reflects a strategic approach to growth and development in the country.

While praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his emphasis on welfare, Kumar labeled the budget as a ‘welfare budget for the people’. He expressed gratitude towards both the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister for their efforts in crafting the budget.

In light of the positive aspects of the budget, Bandi Sanjay urged the opposition parties to refrain from unnecessary criticisms and called for the Telangana state government to work in collaboration with the Center to ensure the successful implementation of the budget's proposals.
