State Street Corp Increases Its Position in Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF

State Street Corp has significantly boosted its investment in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (NYSEARCA:VWO), increasing its holdings by 36.6% in the third quarter, according to recent reports.

As of the latest filing with the SEC, State Street Corp now holds a total of 13,173 shares of the ETF after purchasing an additional 3,526 shares during the quarter. This increase brings the total value of their holdings in the ETF to approximately $630,000.

Other institutional investors have also recently adjusted their positions in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF. For instance, Stifel Financial Corp raised its stake by 39.8% during the same quarter, acquiring a total of 4,671,006 shares worth about $223.5 million after an additional purchase of 1,330,526 shares.

Integrated Wealth Concepts LLC also increased its position by 18.2%, now holding 786,735 shares worth about $37.6 million, following an additional purchase of 121,018 shares. Meanwhile, Harmony Asset Management LLC grew its stake by 24.2%, owning 12,815 shares valued at about $613,000 after acquiring an additional 2,493 shares.
